As can be seen from the photographs, there is plenty to do in Playa / Puerto de Mogan. From its safe beach, great bars, cafes, restaurants, designer shops to the picturesque side streets and the bustling Harbour.
If that's not enough, take a boat trip, or a submarine adventure! Hire a pedalo, a jetski, or take a dive, with one of the local diving schools.
Maybe pop up to the tranquil village of Mogan, and sample some traditional Canarian hospitality.
In the immediate surrounding area, we have Taurito with its beach, water park and ten pin bowling.
Further out is Puerto Rico, with its new large shopping centre, many bars and resturants. Great for night life.
Further still is Patalavaca, a fantastic quiet beach, great if you like some waves.
A little further still is Playa del Ingles and Maspalomas, here you will find Holiday World entertainment centre, and the famous sand dunes. Close by is the family friendly Aqualand waterpark.
A few miles up the motorway is the Capital of the Canary Islands, Las Palmas, with its history, heritage, fabulous bars, resturants and shops. Visit the lively beach of Las Canteras, or head inland to the quiet and relaxing mountains with their amazing forests.
So much to do, (and I have missed much out, like the enjoyable Crocodile Park), and so little time.
